Introduction to Racing
2002: Ajith Kumar made his competitive racing debut in the Formula Maruti Indian Championships, securing a commendable fourth-place finish.
Formula BMW Asia
He participated in the inaugural Formula BMW Asia Championship. Despite challenges, including a spin in the first lap of his debut race, Ajith completed the season, finishing twelfth overall.
FIA Formula 2 Championship
After a six-year hiatus, Ajith returned to professional racing by joining the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Formation of Ajith Kumar Racing
Ajith launched his own racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing, marking a significant return to motorsport.
Return to Competitive Racing
Ajith's team made its debut at the 20th Hankook 24H Dubai race. Competing in the 992 category with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, the team secured a commendable third-place finish. This achievement underscored Ajith's resilience and passion for racing
